The Taming of the Shrew

On June 6th - 10th, 2017, the Ruus Shakespeareans performed their production of The Taming of the Shrew. As one of the audience members commented after a performance, "They've done it again!"  The students' performances were raved about by everyone who was able to see.  Along with telling the hilarious story of Petruchio and Katherine, the students had a set list of songs by Tom Petty, The Beatles, The Who, OK Go, and The Rolling Stones, just to name a few. The over 2 hour production showcased these students' ability to combine Shakespeare, music, and dance.

The students welcomed returning guests while also making new friends.  Thank you to everyone who took the time to come and support the students.  Thank you to Susanna Seto and Sophia Seto for taking the incredible pictures that you see above, and the video montage below.
